Ty attended the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota where he received a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2003 and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training in 2001. He played football at the University of Mary and continues to remain active with fitness training, biking, hiking, and rock climbing. Ty values one on one patient care and strives to educate patients on the nature of the injury, anatomy, biomechanics and the steps of the rehabilitation process.

Advanced training and Certifications:

  • Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA)

  • Certified in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA)

  • Certificate of Completion from Duke University in Vestibular Rehabilitation including treatment of vertigo and dizziness



Susanne attended Central Wyoming College where she received an Associate Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant in 2001. She also attended University of Wyoming in 1997 where she received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology with emphasis in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She has also received her certification in Kinesiotape application, and Level I Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA). In her free time she likes to remain active with fitness training, hiking, camping, and fishing. Susanne enjoys working with patients one on one to ensure that each patient recovers fully with their rehabilitation.



Jessie Kotnour graduated from the University of La Crosse, WI with her Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2006 and then completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at the University of Montana in 2015. She worked in outpatient orthopedics in Jackson, WY and Seward, AK before relocating to Lander with her husband to settle into a mountain community. When Jessie is not in the clinic, you can find her at the rock wall, biking, skiing, doing yoga, wandering in the woods, or sitting by the fire with a book.

Advanced training and Certifications:

  • Certificate of Achievement from Duke University in Vestibular Rehabilitation including treatment of vertigo and dizziness

  • Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist (COMT) related to the upper extremity (shoulder, elbow, and wrist/thumb) through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine, and has taken two of three courses towards the Lower Extremity Certification

  • Certified in Dry Needling through Kineticore.

  • Women’s Health and Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation coursework through Herman and Wallace



Deana is the office manager of Wind River Therapy, and the welcoming, friendly face that greets patients and guests upon their arrival.  She will also work with our patients to collect the necessary documentation for therapy, confirm insurance coverage,  and schedule your next appointment. Deana can also help you with any billing questions you may have.  After living the dream in Seattle, Deana and her husband moved back to Wyoming in 2014 to be closer to family. They live in Lander with Ollie the wonder dog, and Mocha that chatty cat. Together they have three grown children, and one granddaughter. Deana enjoys spending time with family, crafting, reading, learning, and baking.
